Progress Update With Nuala

We stop in with Nuala and find out what she's been painting away on. It seems the theme of this table is horses, but there appears to be another big beast coming to life too.

When you're painting armies do you go for the big beasties first or do you work on the basic line troopers?

For a relative newbie to painting that’s cracking work and way faster than I can lay paint down.

For my part i tend to go the biggest miniatures (read center pieces) first. I’m not a patient man and I get tired real quick of painting always the same paint-scheme… By starting with my biggest miniatures I ensure that they look real good as I tend to botch the last few minis in a hurry to get done with a particular project… I know… Bad hobbyist…

Some good looking miniatures and a pretty scarf, BTW not a good idea to wear it while you are painting.

absolutly great looking stuff for a rather new painter. And she is having fun and that is the most important part of it all 🙂

Welcome to the hobby.
So, is it just me or does it seem like John is interviewing all the lady?

Those are really nice miniatures. Personally I always treat myself with the more interesting stuff e.g. the big models after painting all the rank and file.

I usually work out the look and scheme of the army on the rank and file. That way I have a more developed idea of how to integrate the big gribblies into the force.

I like the green plating/chitin on the worm with some of the markings.
