Old Skool D&D from Otherworld

Otherworld Miniatures is an accomplished artist with a fantastic range of miniatures based on the art and monsters of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.
For those of us who remember playing the game the first time around, this just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy... but what do you younger guys think?

I’m going to play a dwarven mage in Pathfinder soon, hopefully… It’s been a while since I played anything, being mostly a GM. I’ve GMed D&D 3.5 before Pathfinder (so that was a while ago), and Warhammer 2nd edition (ongoing), as well as many, many others… (Call of Cthulhu, Amber, Nobilis, Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG, Murphy’s World…) … But my first love will always be good old AD&D. Yep… AD&D was the bomb back in the day.
However, I’m still loving my 4th edition D&D. It’s been good fun. If we manage to get our Orcs & Goblins filming finished early on Wednesday, we should be able to have a longer game.

Otherworld are one of my favourite mini companies. It’s the 80’s nostalgia that does it for me.
I hope they produce a full range of characters and NPCs along with their lovely monsters!
