Good job I would like to see the humans in something a little less vibrant to make them less warcrafty

I agree. Vibrant colors are fun, but they make the models look a bit too 80s cartoony for me.

That turned out quite well, especially for just how quick it was to do.

Love what you did with this one. The system really does allow you to get the models on the tabletop so that you can get playing.

Nice job. This was a great example of a tabletop paint job to get to the important part, playing.

This, in my opinion, is one of the best painting videos that BoW has done. It is simple techniques. I’m teaching someone how to paint next week and I will definitely suggest this video. John’s paint job is top notch, but the video was very good about showing to get good results with simple techniques. 10/10

Viking Blue is such an amazing color, i’m using it rather often myself at the moment, vould be my fasvorite of all the blues out there at the moment.

And i always love to see john paint some stuff … you should film him doing it more often again!

Gets the job done and looks great! Sure beats playing with a bunch of bare plastic on the table.

Most of the time when painting, I pick this colour and than that colour and end up with a lot of colours on the mini.
I was allready thinking about decreasing the amount of different colours/tones to use.
But from now on I am planning to pick 4-6 base colours and stick to those.

Thanks

Thanks for that. I will have a more detailed look once I get my painting desk ready again.

Considering how little work it takes to give a model even a modest tabletop quality paint job, it’s crazy to see someone playing with unpainted models. I mean, I wouldn’t chastise someone over it, but…why wouldn’t you want to splash some paint on these gorgeous figures and really bring the game to life? Madness, I tell ya!

I didn’t think I’d enjoy watching someone else paint but 30 minutes later I can say I was wrong, you just about put me in my zen place.
