The Gestir Captain Stomps Into Godslayer For The Nordgaard
March 24, 2017 by brennon
Megalith Games are continuing to preview what lies ahead for the world of Godslayer. Their latest preview is for the Gestir Captain who is a mighty force to be reckoned with for the Nordgaard faction.
Most of the cultures in Godslayer are actually made up of both Humans and Ogres who are cousin races. The Ogres are known as Myrgaerder and most of them hire themselves out to the highest bidder as mercenaries and bodyguards.
This warrior, in particular, has chosen to fight alongside the forces of Nordgaard and so comes armed with some awesome nordic looking axes and that amazing shield with a great design emblazoned upon it.
You can see him in action here with their artwork...
Now that is a gruff and rather epic looking warrior. Hopefully, we'll see more of these Myrgaerder in the future fighting for the different factions in the game showing off the diversity within their race.
What do you think?

classically cool, he will look splendid with those fantastic looking nordgaard dwarves
An ogre-sized Viking/Barbarian warlord- what’s not to like!?
Also a very impressive sculpt; I have the Godslayer rulebook and Background book but never played a game- it seems to share some basic rules mechanics with Warmahordes… I’ll be following the upcoming KS with interest!
he looks fabulous.
Legs are looking a bit short? Otherwise very cool norse looking fellow
I love the rich details of the mini but the pose is a bit static and I dislike the almost symmetrical side-axes-action.
