We're closing out the weekend here at AdeptiCon 2017 with another day of awesomeness. We hope you've had a blast following along and experiencing the convention through our eyes!
Adepticon Interviews
If you're interested in how all of this came together then we've been following the show preparations in Adepticon Talks which you can watch here.
You can use these as a great way to catch up as you're watching the different videos arrive for the show.
Follow Along & Win A VIG Bag!
Make sure to follow throughout the weekend for interviews with game designers, a look at the different events being run and of course pictures of all of the amazing miniatures we run into.
If you comment on posts here on the Live Blog you could also be in with a chance of winning a VIG Bag from AdeptiCon which is packed (and we mean packed) with all manner of goodies from loads of different companies.
We can't wait and hope you enjoy!

"Are You Ready? It Is Game TIme, Day 4!"
1 CommentGood Morning From Day 4 Of Adepticon
Well, we are in the home stretch of Adepticon 2017. We hope you have enjoyed the coverage up to this point. We have used new technology to bring you live streaming and hopefully, we will do it at future events. Also, we introduce you to the newest member of the Beasts of War U.S. Team, Benny (BeastlyBen25). Remember to comment on the 4 days of posts for your chance to win the coveted VIG Swag Bag.
Aetherium Demo - Combat In The Inner Space Of The Digital World.
Several of you asked for a demo of this game, so here it is. It is a very interesting combination of miniatures and boardgame. Redben and Brennon you might want to check this out, we thought of you two when we were filming this.
Adepticon Is About The People, The Gamers And Especially The People Behind The Scenes.
I tried to get photos of some of the people behind the scenes that make Adepticon tick.
A Very Busy Battlefoam Stand. How's It Going Jama?
We catch up with a very very busy Jama at the Battlefoam stand and as you can see there are some slim pickings for day 4.
A Closer Look At AVP 2nd Edition
I had questions about how the second edition of AVP looks, so I thought it would be good to crack the box open and show it off. I think the one piece sculpts look great! There's very little flashing and they are full of all the details you expect from the previous models. And the foam insert?! Oh my gosh, yes! I think companies need to hop into this. Not only is a more kind alternative to forcing minis back into plastic trays, they put the pictures of the models in each pocket so there's no guesswork for who goes back where.
Battlefleet Gothic is amidst a bloody war
Battlefleet Gothic is drawing some big fleets into the war for some good ol' carnage
"Looking forward to a chat with Andy"
3 CommentsYou Shall Not Pass!
Lord of The Rings Fallen Realms is pulling in my attention as well as many die hard fans. This game has some amazing miniatures and terrain. This immediately roped in my attention when i saw Smaug in all his terrible greatness
DGS Games And Freeblades How Is Adepticon Been For You?

1 CommentCreate Unique Shapes With Modbitz
Our friend, Stephen Garber (creator of the ModCube), is back this year with something totally different. Modbitz will be the next Kickstarter and features different sizes of magnetic pieces for you to build your heart out. Kids have been gravitating to the table all weekend long (including my 15yo). This is one of those fun things that allows the creative energy to be put to good use.
Shattered Crown Takes a Weird Tour Into WWI At Adepticon and on Kickstarter
I stumbled upon Shattered Crown being demoed in the hallway here at Adepticon. One of my favorite things about the con is you never know what unique things you'll find. Shattered Crown is a WWI game that combines history, science fiction, and fantasy with 28mm miniatures, including: Axis, Allies, Germans, Japanese, and Russians.
You get troops as well as vehicles in a time just after Earth's victory over the Martian invasion.
Shattered Crown is live on Kickstarter now.
Bones from Reaper look fantastic as always
I went by the Reaper stand and took some pictures of some of Reaper's majestic Bones minis.
Cult of Barnacle Bay Coming To A Kickstarter Near You
While scouting the Vendor hall, we came across these two fine fellows, who had so much enthusiasm and energy we could not help but get them on camera to show off their game.
Star Wars! Nothing but STAR WARS...
Armada action. Who will prevail? The Empire or the Rebellion?
Bolt Action Tourmament
Wow what a variety of troops and terrain. Love the Germans fighting in the Pacific and the train set talking up two different boards.
DUST '47
I got my kids in on some DUST action at the vendor booth. At first the youngest was prevailing and took the objective leaving just the enemy character alive. However the oldest took out the last units with his character and sliced his way to victory
Over? It's Not Over....!
An Update With Paragon
Dawn finds out what is new with the Paragon Miniatures.
Some Final Thoughts From Table Wars
As the show winds down we catch up with the guys from Table Wars and see how the show went for them. Www.tablewars.com
Create your own custom bases with stamps from Happy Seppuku
After seeing John & Justin working with different techniques to imprint bases, I was really excited to see what Happy Seppuku had at their stand. They have a great line of stamps and molds.
Are You Not Entertained?
Dawn catches up with Walker from Arena Rex as the convention winds down.
Sergio Calvo Rubio Wins Best In Show For Crystal Brush
The competition was FIERCE this year in the Crystal Brush, and in the end, Best In Show, The Crystal Brush and $10,000 went to Sergio Calvo Rubio with his stunning Space Wolf. I absolutely love attending the awards ceremony because this is where the hobby community really shines. Everyone is a fan of everyone else and the excitement is shared by the group.
GCT Studio Showing Off Bushido & The Sweet New Buildings On The Way From 4Ground
GCT Studio was crazy busy showing off their fantastic game, Bushido (which we made the plunge into ourselves). On top of the beautiful game, there were a couple Easter eggs at the stand as we spied the gorgeous prototype buildings for the game from 4Ground. Just picture how beautiful the game tables will look with these beauties!
"Whew! I think we're done..."
