Check Out Noyjatat's Desert Army!

Working exceptionally hard over the weekend Noyjatat from the community got stuck in and painted up his entire force over the last few days.

I think the models look fantastic and it's great to see someone approaching this from the hobby point of view rather than the gaming one. Both facets of our hobby are equally awesome!

How would you approach painting up your force?

@noyjatat – after two days, your army looks better than mine after two weeks. 😀

Nice work, great way to spend the weekend and there’s something extra special about fielding your force fully painted.

Well done, that is some impressive work and I love the detail on the tracts. Nice job getting a great army ready!

A good result under pressure for time – and of course when you get them home it can be tweaked and enhanced at leisure. Those are very nice kits.

Looking forward to picking up a British force soon. How would I approach it:
= Do some priming before final assembly
– quick putty-camo effect with a darker primer on the main body
– probably tracks added last if possible primed with metallic
= Quick highlight and wash

I have had great results painting after full assembly. Use the Color of War primers from Battlefront and then putty over that for your camo color. You could leave the tracks off and domthem seperate. Most of Battlefronts plastics are made in such a way you can do this pretty easy.

I like the way you can do both at the boot camp

Wow, I couldn’t do that in a weekend.

Great looking army, especially given how time they had to assemble & paint!
