Looks like one hell of a last stand 🙂
@volkbane – Fall back to the Alamo! Alamo, Alamo, Alamo!
great days gaming
Good solid position.
Usually you find infantry sheltering in a town! Oh well, in the desert I guess you have to use what you have!
German Tanks: Psuh dont park there. You can drink you Bier later
We heard there were hot babes at this bar. 😀
I am interested to learn how cover works in this game. Does being behind a wall offer the same cover as being concealed in the woods. If they simplified the game rules how was cover effected???
Pretty good cover all things considered!
Awesome looking panzers. Must have been a hell of a fight
Thanks, @sonbae . Indeed, @davebpg gave me some very scary moments here.
Little pig little pig let me in?
I would be hiding at this point as well.
Wheres the Arty when you need it?
No problem to Jim/Oriskany Parking the panzers in the swimming pool if need be
Never has Blitz / Shoot n Scoot move been so handy. I could redeploy within this little perimeter as much as I needed (assuming I made the rolls) and maintain by x2 shots per turn.
Need to call in the Arty!
Haha are you fighting zulus now or something?
@dmgdmind – it’s funny, later when my left wing finally collapses, Dave’s tanks move off further south to help hold off the German attack from Andre and Mark . . . while Bothi and John come in from the north to take over against me. As Dave moves off, he actually said something like . . .
“We doff our caps to you, sir! You stood well!”
Not quite the Zulu song from the end of the movie, but close. 😀
bloody valet parking.
Wall to wall violence
Circle the wagons and let’s get it on .
Always use the terrain to your advantage!
Bunker down and hold the line!
Not the way to lay down a smoke screen!
Safe houses or just hours watching a flood rise?
Like I kept saying during the game, with German reinforcements coming up from the south, we’re reminded of the final firefight from “Blackhawk Down.”
“The convoy’s coming! Hold on! The convoy’s coming!”
White smoke…
They elected a new pope?
Now where are the bombers when you need one
Nice paint job, nice position, Gut Fighting mine James.
Thanks!
Remember the Alamo?
