Justin and Kev have dropped in for a quick run through of Warmachine: High Command. Some people have said it's a little difficult to get your head around the rules but both the guys have found it quite easy to pick up and play! Hopefully this demo game will help those of you struggling a little bit!

Pre-ordered my copy!
I downloaded the rulebook, and I didn’t think the rules were that difficult to get my head around. The game is advertised as a deck building game, not an LCG, however the customization aspect and plans for Organised Play suggests that PP could be considering an expansion model along the lines of an LCG. Would like to see PP give us some more info on how expansions will work.
I’ll be waiting for Convergence and Retribution cards!
my own thoughts would be that at the mo there could be 5-6 expansions made for it, one for each of the missing factions then one for each of the new books updating the units and such in the game.

from what I have heard, starting January there will be a new “booster” (expansion might be to big in a sense) each month to add new cards
true but it will allow them to have special one’s in no quarter if they wanted.
Kev just a quick one, you said it was gaspy on the cover, isn’t it terminus?
Cryx they all just walking bags of bones – I got I wrong, I hadn’t really looked at the box cover in detail before (I was more interested in what was inside), it was upside-down in the recording and unbelievably hit in the studio
Ok so it’s Terminus, happy? 😀
I heard that too. Definitely Terminus, the wings give him away.
Looks like an over-complicated, boring game. Love WM/H but this is just crap.
it’s really not, once you get the idea of how it runs it’s a really simple game and when you have the full 4 players it becomes incredibly tactical choosing when to build up your forces and when to throw in your casters to win a fight you really need to.
we each have our own tastes when it comes to gaming but, it’s never a good idea to simply say something is crap till you give it a go and get a feel for the game.
