Scibor’s Latest Basing Kit is Rather Rock Headed
August 20, 2013 by dracs
Scibor Monstrous have recently released a new basing kit, containing a selection of heads whose faces can only be described as "stony".
These heads are like the Thing's ugly cousin. Given just how ugly they are it would be hard to say they could be used as statues, unless the sculptors were very crewed.
However, I could see them being used to show chaotic corruption in the ground. In Warhammer especially, chaos' presence is often depicted by strange faces growing out of the environment. Would there be anything more chaotic than the very rocks under foot growing faces?
How might you use Scibor's stony visages?

Annoying typo spotter here, lol! That should be ‘crude’ not ‘crewed’.
Anyway, they look cool. They could be set in a rocky wall on a piece of terrain; perhaps at the entrance to a troll’s lair or a cultists den. Or they could be a set of stone panels in a dungeon that have to pressed in the correct order before you can pass them – get it wrong, and you trigger something nasty. 😀
