loving this great stuff guys!
That is very, very cool. If I had an airbrush – and a load of anime-looking space tanks – I’d be all over this.
Gotta get me an airbrush. Even if it’s just one of those aerosol ones. I have my Empire of the Dead carriages to paint.
Oh wow, they’re cheaper than I thought they would be. Looks like you can get one for under $50 on ebay.
That looks great! The possibilities are endless!
can you you use the inverse , and paint around the cutouts ?
Hey.
I’m not toally sure what you mean, if you mean paint into the negative space (the video used the positive shapes) then with this design, you arange a few of the stencils to overlap, but create a “ring” that you spray into the middle of (you can see what i mean at the end of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zb_qlftJtS8 )
for the MINI Hexo cam, it will come with the negative shapes for you to use, as well as positive ones like the video.
You can also ask for custom designs.
thanks
Brian
So glad I’m part of this on Kickstarter. Got my tanks primed and ready from some serious camo jobs!
Thanks for all the nice comments guys 🙂 and thanks to Grant and any other backers watching, you guys are amazing!
We are VERY close to our major stretch goal, which adds more stencils to most pledges, you can see the update here.

cheers,
Brian.
P.S oh, and thanks of course to the Beasts of War for letting me take over their site and make the videos 🙂
Do I get this paper with the shapes shown with each sheet? That would be grat to plan the work ahead
Hi Oranje, do you mean do you get the printout with each pack when i send them? or do you mean you would like printouts soon so you can plan?
thanks
Brian
Hi Brian, already a backer 😉 but great to see you in person on BOW. I wondered if you could let us know how long it took you in total to achieve the above (excluding drying time) without the time lapse/breaks.
Really looking forward to giving this a try on my eldar tanks and also some Infinity buildings/terrain.
All the best.
Pete
Thanks crispy 🙂
I’m not sure to be honest, as we were doing filiming for several things at once, and i rarely remember to time myself.
But excluding drying, definatly not more than 30 mins.
If you do things in batches, and so use the same colours at the same time, so less cleaning and mixing new paint, it will be even faster.
cheers,
Brian
.
Less that 48 hours to go on the kickstarter! check it out before its too late 🙂
our major goal was hit with ease, so many of the pledge levels ahve been upgraded.
Also a backer, can’t wait to use those stencils.
Didn’t use these stencils for my Tau green digital camo army, i used those from MaskFX, but, they weren’t cut that well, so you need to do a lot of extra cutting and that sort of stuff, a bit fiddly, and i get the idea that ANARCHY doesn’t really have that problem.
That, and the fact that my usual nickname is ANARCHY, i think i am going to give theirs a try, pricing wise there is not much of a difference, ANARCHY’s just seem more easily workable.
Okay, I was curious about air painting over the past while, and this video, and the ease of use with those stencils have sold me. ON TO AMAZON!!
Hi Wcfree. They are not on amazon, you can find them here; http://www.anarchymodels.co.uk 🙂
