3 Colours Up: Painting The Convergence Of Cyriss Prime Axiom (Part Three)
January 6, 2017 by elromanozo
We're moving onto the third part of this monster scorpion from Romain as he paints up the Convergence Of Cyriss Prime Axiom converted by Tomas Mennes.
This is the last in the series, if you would like to watch all three click here for Part One and click here for Part Two for your full viewing pleasure!
How do you think it turned out?
Marvelous!
Personally, I more a fan of Non metallic metals, but I like how this one turned out.
Thanks man, for making him look so nice.
Thank you very much ! 🙂
With such large surfaces and already fantasy-looking curves, since it’s all metal, I thought it best to use TMP instead.
Looks great Romain. Thanks for the walkthrough.
That was one of the better non-metallic metals demos i have ever watched. thanks all
if I understand what you were trying to do ,,,,, I am worried now that I didn’t and look follish .. (by non-metallic I mean the way it was dulled down so that the mettalpaints had the level of shading that you normally get in flat colours … arggh .. shut up now ….) I loved the tutorial none the less
Came out great
she looks marvellous very well done Romain.
fantastic series from build to paint job.
painting is a kid of meditation, but its only scratching the surface unless your incredibly gifted or your bringing teachings on the practice from a qualified teacher to your painting.
but it is beneficial and your a fine example of the mental quintessence that can be achieved through painting.
bravo for touching on this little talked about aspect of painting.
looking forward to this years tutorials
It’s all of the attention to detail that really pushes the model from good looking to amazing.
I really like the idea of the red wash over the gold. After you mentioned it, I remembered the idea from class. But I don’t think I would have thought of it on my own. Thanks for that tip. 😀
