At first it was hard to see what you where painting on as it was so fine. But once you turned the model about you could really see the effect your going for.
I use dry brushing to get effects like that at times. More like a wet dry brushing if you can imagine it.

This technique is pretty close to the one I’m using. I even made a little tutorial myself a couple of weeks ago.
It’s one of the latest post on my blog (it’s a pretty brutal technique for chain painting compared to the awesome talent of Romain, though).
