Good tutorial. As for listening material, I tend to stick on a movie in the background when I’m painting, helps the peepers to look up and change my focus now and again. Also been giving the GW audio books a go.

Thanks for the tutorial. Allways great to have something to aspire to! I do think i need a bit more precision in my brush-work before i attempt any shading like that. I am currently trying new seating and arm positioning to get more support, so i can keep both the miniature and the brush more stable. If you have any tips on these it would be greatly appreciated. 🙂 For listening material i have two “groups”: For precision work or when trying out a new technique i have silence or classical music. Thanks a bunch ! 🙂 I listen to podcasts as well while painting… As for seating, my only advice is : listen to yourself. Listen to your own back and vertebrae, that’s the only thing if you don’t want to have back problems after a few hours painting (that become irreversible in a few years). No point in buying expensive chairs or tables, as your basic rotating/elevating chair should work fine if you’re in the average height range… but of course, not everyone is. I personally like low chairs and high tables, but that’s just how I paint ! You… Read more »
