… and what I like the most Roman is that you show how to mix colours to get results you want, I like the way you show that you dont need 100’s of paints, just learn wheel colour and learn how to use it. ( this is how I paint and show on my painting sessions in my local shop/ club) Thx guys very interesting tutorial/show.
Thanks ! We do our best ! 🙂
“The shadows are bright enough to shine through.” Classic Justin, but it’s also the kind of thing I would say. Made me LOL.
I am not sure if Romain ever mentioned how he mounts his models while painting them in the past. As I am new to watching his videos. Using the small film type cases to mount the figures really adds a stability to painting. All the years I have been painting, I have never used that approach. You could say I have been in the dark for some time. 😉
Oh, everyone has his own thing… I use old film pots filled with beads. A lot of people who pin miniatures to bases paint the base separately and use cork stoppers to paint the miniature, sticking the pin drilled into the feet of the miniature right into the material. Still more people use old paint pots… No matter what you use, it’s just so you don’t get your fingers all over what you’ve just painted ! 🙂
Hm, it suddenly says flash-plug-in required. Have you done any changes to your website? I cant watch the videos on my tablet anymore.
Im having difficulty watching this too, its not loading properly but im not getting a message for a flash plugin
I like the way everything is starting to jump out of the figure now with the shading.
Film pots with beads? Brilliant. I will try that out. Thank you
