I really like the dynamic Justin brings to these shows. It makes them more fun to watch with hin as a stand in for other painters and it also looks like Romain does not need not make small talk with the camera while painting, as he actually has someone to talk to.
I like what you have dun with the face I tend to make them to pink with the shading to dark making the face look a bit cartoony.
I like how it’s turning out. This is something I would show someone that thinks he can not paint or just starts painting and lacks confidence – you can always go back to it and tidy up later, especially if you don’t just clog a thick layer of color on. Really good series and I also get the honest feeling Justin actually learns a thing or two, right? Still waiting for when you do something about the base. Im thinking for the next series, i might pick up a second mini of the same type and have a go at painting it from scratch while Romain is going through the fix on the first mini, what do you think?

Thanks guys ! I had a lot of fun doing this, and I agree… There is no substitute for someone showing you how it’s done. It even forces me to re-think how I explain things, and keeps me on my toes as to how well I do every gesture, as I have to do them right, more carefully and more slowly than usual ! 🙂
