Aha! The return of “Sleepy Justin.” Excellent. Great tips on fixing separated paint (drop of window cleaner). Not so sure about a drop of vodka . . . that sounds like a waste of vodka. 😀
On a serious note, I also use a tiny drop of dish soap in my dark washes (honestly, I don’t buy factory-made washes, I’m a cheap b****** who mixes my own with black acrylic and water).
I wonder how many of us have gone back to repair their old minis since watching this series.
i would hope quite a few i know ive been looking at all my old minis to see what i can fix on my own and what needs passed to Romain 🙂
As you get better……….It could be a never ending process
Personnally, I never look back…
There’s so many great things to paint next ! 🙂
True we all new models or games but there are some games and periods I like to play more than most and have played for quite a few years. Some of my models were painted a long time ago and are somewhat battle worn. Mostly I look past their imperfections as I’m fond of them.
Well, gee, Romain . . . not all OUR miniatures come out perfect the first time! 😀
Just kidding, of course. Great show as always, compliments to you and Justin.
And I agree with @huscarle as well . . . I’ve got a few dinged-up veteran miniatures with “battle scars” on them. That’s the elite mark of combat experience!
Well she’s just getting better and better nicely dun.
Will the agitator nut /bolt not affect the pant by attracting the partials making the paint dry quicker? @elromanozo never considered putting something in the paint just like spray cans to mix them.
Thanks ! 🙂
Well, from personal experience, the bolt does nothing of the sort… no more than the sides of the pot.
that’s good may try it in the paint I have left a lot of my paint dried out in storage.
I think Romain was right about the “hat”. It’s called a pith helmet.
