Games Workshop Painting Tutorial: How To Paint Ork Skin!
June 16, 2014 by brennon
Duncan is back for another Games Workshop painting tutorial. This time, in the wake of so many new Ork models, he is going to be showing you an easy way to paint their green skin as well as their faces, teeth and eyes...

I actually like that GW have put some time into making painting videos as it can be a daunting task for some to figure out how to paint some models with a level of pride. Grant it we the hobbiest have made videos for years without the soft sale of the Citadel paints.
B****x! I just spent the weekend painting orks and now realise that they look like my 5 year old painted them. I want to cry.
Really like these videos, nice that GW is reaching out to new players to help them with what can be a quite daunting aspect of the hobby.
These vids are actually pretty great as freebies, plenty of youtube painters to follow for more complex and sophisticated technique development but this effort by GW is certainly a welcome one.
I’ve learnt a bit from a few of ’em, I hope they become the norm.
For the abuse that GW get, they really are reaching out to new players via these YouTube videos. Also younger players as well I assume would find these useful.
I’ve watched most of these GW videos and Duncan’s delivery is excellent. He’s no BOW presenter but he not bad!
Well done GW, another nice little painting vid.
Chin up andrewj!
I’m really liking these Games Workshop tutorials, I’m noob painter and I’m looking for every piece of advice that I can find and since I’m going to begin paint my Trollblood army this tutorial came right in hand, I’m going to exchange the green tones for blue ones and it’s done…It’s not so easy but I think you got the point.. lol
Way back when Duncan was a happy minion.
