The key to this tutorial is mastering a set of consistent results that will allow you to get your army to the tabletop. You'll have a lot of Infantry to paint so it pays to work it out beforehand!
What are your tips for batch painting 15mm miniatures?
Thanks John, I really enjoyed that one. Fast, simple and effective.
A great paint video John and the finished stand looks fantastic.
Nice and simple and they look great . Thanks for the video and color tips!
Cheers John.
Have a flames of war starter box that I am now looking forward to opening, rather than being unsure where to start.
Do you find that the colours you choose change from scale to scale? Would you be happy with doing the same scheme as these guys at 28mm with a bit of a touch up highlight after?
I’d totally use the same colours as a base. But the miniature size, to me, dictates how much work you want to add. So if this is 15mm, and I go to 28mm I would be more careful with washes, maybe some weathering and a bit of highlighting. Adding a drybrush to the cloth items, edging the webbing, some paint chips on the helmet and so on. But yeah, generally use the same colours 🙂
