This is sort of the pattern I was going for here… Easy enough ! there’s no secret though : spend more time on highlighting and contrasting this, and on re-touching this with your finest brushes, and you’ll get results worthy of a Golden Demon !
Watching this vid i realised just what it is about @elromanozo ‘s teaching style that works so well for me!
Unlike others who give a tiny but continuoeus shot of the pallet and paint consistency, or just mumble thin, milk like, addative this, addative that and never show what they are working with, Romain shows it full screen and really plays with the paint showing exactly the consistency he is using, brilliant!
Ever thought about doing a Q+A vid where bow users could post questions on the forum to be answered by the master?
Thanks a lot ! 🙂
Q&A is a nice idea, but time is usually pretty scarce when I come over to film tutorials… However, anyone can PM me any questions they have ! I’m always happy to answer.
Absolutely fantastic tutorial! I love how it came out, looks amazing.
I have to admit, It was nice seeing you sweat a bit when it came to the lighter side of that shield, Romain. It was cool to see you improvise and made me feel a bit more better about my painting somehow.
Looks great similar to the rope patterns on Celtic crosses Romain.
Yes, it’s true ! Actually, you just have to continue these lines a bit more, and you’ll get it.
